HR Live Project - MDI Gurgaon

Objective of the project - A job description or JD is a written narrative that describes the general tasks, or other related duties, and responsibilities of a position. It may specify the functionary to whom the position reports, specifications such as the qualifications or skills needed by the person in the job, information about the equipment, tools and work aids used, working conditions, physical demands, and a salary range. The organization has gone through some major reorgs in the last few years and the entire JD repository is no longer valid. Hence, it has become both a talent + audit requirement to have a JD.

Project Deliverables: 

1) Speak with role holders and hiring managers to understand the job specs and expectations from the role.

2) Design the JD basis the list of unique roles (as prepared by the Talent Team) for the functions

3) Sign off all JDs by role holders + hiring managers

4) JDs to be made for the below functions (tentative number of roles given): Manufacturing, Supply Services, Procurement

Note: 

Project Sponsors are managers in positions like Marketing Manager, Regional Manager, Factory Manager, Heads of Modern Trade, Trade Marketing, Sales Development, and Finance Controllers, who sponsor & own the project. They will be responsible for monitoring the progress and evaluating the performance of the Summer Interns. 

Project Guides are the DRs of the Project Sponsors, who will regularly interact and provide guidance to the interns on the project. They will also be responsible for monitoring the progress and evaluating the performance of the Summer Interns.
