Thousands of B-school students graduate every year. Only a few can demonstrate what truly makes them employable.
Recruiters today look beyond grades, internships, PPOs and college credentials. They value graduates who can solve unfamiliar problems, communicate with clarity, make sound decisions and use AI effectively without outsourcing their judgment to it.
InsideIIM’s Most Employable MBA Graduate identifies students who bring together a strong profile, sharp business thinking, professional credibility and the potential to thrive in a rapidly changing workplace.
Across three rounds, you will be evaluated on what you have achieved, how you perform in a realistic business situation and how clearly you understand the career landscape ahead of you.
Having a PPO is not an advantage. Not having one is not a disadvantage. This is your opportunity to prove the value you can create.

ROUND DETAILS
Round 1: Profile Evaluation
Your resume is more than a record of where you studied and worked. It is evidence of the choices you made, the opportunities you created and the impact you delivered.
Upload your master resume for an evaluation of your academics, internships, work experience, achievements, extracurricular pursuits and positions of responsibility. This round rewards depth, initiative, consistency and demonstrated impact, not merely prestigious college or employer names.
Weightage: 40%
Round 2: MettleX - The Future-Ready Assessment
Step into a realistic business situation where there is no obvious correct answer. Analyse the available information, navigate ambiguity, make critical decisions and present your recommendations.
You will have access to an embedded AI assistant. How effectively you prompt it, challenge its output and apply your own judgement will matter. The simulation will assess your problem solving, strategic thinking, communication, adaptability and AI fluency.
You can also earn 10 additional points by sharing your response on LinkedIn and demonstrating how effectively you communicate ideas in public.
Weightage: 50%
Round 3: Career Choice Index
Employability is not only about being ready for your first role. It is also about knowing where you want to go and whether your choices are taking you there.
The Career Index invites you to evaluate leading employers across factors that matter to your career, including reputation, learning, culture, growth, leadership, innovation and role quality. It is your opportunity to reflect on what you value, understand the choices ahead and add your voice to how India’s next generation of business leaders views the workplace.
Weightage: 10%

Rules & Guidelines
This competition is designed to bring out the best in you. What were your highs? Your lows? How do you respond to feedback, failure, and pressure? What’s your approach to work, learning, and leadership?
It’s time to reflect on your MBA journey while preparing meaningfully for the final placements ahead.
COMPETITION RULES
- This is an individual competition. Entries submitted as a team or on behalf of another participant will not be accepted.
- Each participant may register and participate only once. Multiple registrations using different email addresses or phone numbers may result in disqualification.
- Participants must upload their latest master resume in the prescribed format. All qualifications, achievements, positions and experiences mentioned must be accurate and verifiable. Misrepresentation may lead to disqualification.
- Participants must complete all three rounds within the communicated timelines to be considered for the final ranking.
- Assessment Weightage
- Round 1, Profile Evaluation: 40%
- Round 2, MettleX - The Future-Ready Assessment: 50%
- Round 3, Career Choice Index: 10%
- Participants may use the AI assistant embedded within the simulation. The use of external AI tools, external assistance or responses created by another person is not permitted during the assessment.
- The simulation must be completed independently. Copying, sharing questions, seeking live assistance or attempting to manipulate the assessment may result in immediate disqualification.
- Participants can earn 10 additional points by publishing the required LinkedIn post according to the brief provided. The post must be original, publicly visible and submitted through the prescribed link within the deadline.
- Participants must complete the Career Index honestly and in full. Incomplete, duplicate or inconsistent responses may not be considered for scoring.
- All submissions must be completed before the deadlines communicated for each round. Extensions will not be provided for missed deadlines, incomplete submissions or personal connectivity issues.
- InsideIIM may request supporting documents or additional information to verify any claim made during the competition. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may affect the participant’s score or eligibility.
- The evaluation methodology, shortlisting decisions and final results determined by InsideIIM will be final. Individual score reviews or reassessment requests may not be entertained.
- InsideIIM reserves the right to disqualify any participant for plagiarism, impersonation, misrepresentation, misconduct, manipulation of the platform or violation of these rules.
- By participating, candidates permit InsideIIM to feature their name, institution, photograph, ranking and submitted LinkedIn content in competition related announcements and promotional communication.
- InsideIIM may modify the schedule, format or rules if required. Any material changes will be communicated to registered participants through the official channels.

Eligibility Criteria
- All students who will be graduating in 2027 are eligible for the competition.
- One-year MBA students and two-year MBA students are eligible to apply to this competition as well.
