About This Competition
The Annual Sports Festival of SPJIMR presents “Skills That Kill”, a sports skill challenge where participants have to shoot a video showcasing skills related to any sports of their preference. Difficulty and creativity of moves is the most important thing, and there can be multiple team participants and can involve multiple sports including props as required
Rules & Guidelines
1. Participants need to create a video, showcasing their skills in any sport(s) in which they believe they are proficient. Participants can be as creative as possible. The video can be up to 2 minutes.
a) Participants can showcase their skills across any of the sports (Tennis, Table tennis, football, basketball, cricket, hockey, athletics, swimming, billiards, volleyball, boxing, wrestling etc.)
b) The move needs to be completed properly. An incomplete move won’t be considered for evaluation
c) Participants are allowed to combine skills across sports and present it in the same video
d) Participants are allowed to use props to showcase their skills. For example, target cones, aiming a bottle cap laying over an elevated platform etc.
e) Participants are allowed to take assistance from their friends or family while performing the skill. However, only the registered participant will be evaluated
2. The participant has to shout “Go Sprint: I feel the pulse” in the beginning of the video. Without this, the participation would be cancelled
3. Their is just 1 round for the event and the videos for the same have to be submitted by 6th of March 2021. The results will be announced by EOD.
4. Note: The participants will have to send their videos as a drive link or a YouTube link over the form that will be sent a day before the deadline date.
5. Creativity and difficulty of moves and skills will be the judging criteria (we are not testing your video editing skills)
6. It is a common event for boys and girls and the registrations can be done as an individual, or as a team (cross gender teams are allowed)
