About This Competition
The world around us is changing drastically and with the outbreak of COVID, it is dangerously fragile as well. Waste has been on the increase since the 20th century and it is only in the last decade that we have become consciously aware of it. In today’s world, there is an opportunity to leverage technology to address the growing environmental concern.
Virtual Shell Energy Day (SED) 3.0 is a unique brainstorming competition for the brightest minds to bring out pathbreaking solutions to make an impact to the environment that we live in today. This year, Shell will host the very 1st exclusive virtual SED 3.0, targeting students from 10 top campuses to compete and share their environment friendly, yet commercially viable business model.
Rules & Guidelines
For Round 1: - All Students will be invited to participate for a virtual quiz and the top 5 students from each campus will be chosen for Round 2.
Shortlisted students will be notified via email and through the campus focal.
For Round 2: You have to form teams for the second round from the shortlisted candidates. The top 10 teams from the quiz (1 team from each campus), will compete in the ‘Shell Energy Day Grand Finale’. On the day of the event, students will experience a live brainstorming and mentoring session with Shell leaders to help shape their winning ideas.
Quick Tip: Students can read about Shell’s investments in new energy and its contribution in achieving a more sustainable world. The keyword for Shell Energy Day 3.0 is “Circularity in Energy”.

Virtual Shell Energy Day (3.0) is open to all students currently pursuing any program in the following institutes. Students can participate individually in the first round.

Round 1 results: 9th October
Round 2: Shell Energy Day Grand Finale (only for the 50 Shortlisted students): 30th October 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
