About This Competition
I.Envest is a glimpse into the challenges in the Life of an Investment Banker and the skillsets needed to navigate it. So get ready to put on your creative and analytical hats.
You will be given real life scenarios of conversations and data that come at them and you will have to help them take the right decisions and present your views.
Rules & Guidelines
- Registrations will open on 9:30am Wednesday November 2, 2022 and will be closed on November 6, 2022 at 9:00pm. No registrations after the cut-off time will be accepted.
- Participants are to register individually. Any group effort would result in disqualification.
Rewards & Benefits
Cash Prize: Cash Prize of INR 1.23L will be awarded to the winner of this challenge. The first and second runners up will be awarded INR 78.9k and INR 56.7k respectively.
Pre-Placement Interview (PPI): Exclusive opportunity to be part of the IndigoEdge Placement Process ahead of their Campus Visits. [They will be visiting <=2 Campuses this year]
Founder Conversations: Top 10 performers shall also get an opportunity to have a 1-on-1 conversation with the founders of IndigoEdge to get a sense of career paths in IB and other fields.
- Package Offered to Associates: Remuneration at IE for an Associate [20 Lakhs to 105 Lakhs*]
- Fixed CTC: INR 20LPA
- Variable CTC: IndigoEdge has a unique system whereby you are treated as a partner in the company from day 1 and are entitled to a share of profits. This means your bonus is not capped or based on your fixed pay. It is linked to your contribution to the revenues during the financial year.
Below is a table of the Min and Max associate bonuses for FY 21 and FY 22:
- Proprietary Investment Opportunities: As part of IndigoEdge, you will get exclusive access to unique investment opportunities in start ups at terms exclusively offered to IndigoEdge. This will give you a chance to grow your savings above market levels.
- Health Insurance: Your family and you will be entitled to a health insurance of INR 10 Lakhs cover over and above the CTC.
Eligibility Criteria
The competition is open to all second-year students of the two-year MBA/PGDM programs.
Timeline
- Registrations will open on 9:30am Wednesday 2nd November, 2022 and will be closed on Sunday November 6th, 2022 at 9:00pm. No registrations after the cut-off time will be accepted.
- The case study will be rolled out at 11:59pm Friday, 4th November and the deadline for the same will be 11:59pm Monday, 7th November.
- Each individual is to submit their output in a PPT format (<12 slides suggested) with supporting Excel sheets.
- Naming Convention: Campus Name_Registered Name - Shortlisted candidates will present their views and decisions to the Leadership Team between 11th and 14th November. The quality of decisions taken and the ability to articulate them will be key to deciding the winners.
- The winners will be declared on Sunday, 20th November. The pre-placement processes will begin soon after.
