About This Competition
:As a part of the Day Zero Summer Placement Bootcamp, you’re required to take part in this project, that will test you on all the facets of management, starting from marketing to product management.
Presenting ‘The Career Explorer Project’, the ultimate crossroads of hands-on learning, problem-solving, and CV building all while having fun!
On InsideIIM’s sister platform InsideKampus, we have built a product ‘Careers Explorer’, which is still in the works. As of today, we have only added the roles offered under Finance.
Before you go ahead with the project, you’re required to go through the product (link here) end-to-end. Needless to say, you need to check all the roles both a logged-in user and a non-logged-in user.
Once done, please proceed to work on the project:
- Devise a strategy on how will you improve the product. It can be through more offerings or going beyond the MBA domain.
- What would be the key problems that the product will solve for the user?
- Prepare a marketing plan for increasing the user base.
- How will you build network effects?
- What feature/s will make it a winning product?
- How will you monetize the product?
A well-drafted presentation is a good-to-have, not a must-have. Proper data and analysis are a must.

- The submission needs to be backed with data and numbers.
- The submission needs to be logically coherent.
- If there's a case of plagiarism, you will be disqualified.

Eligibility Criteria
Students who have enrolled for the Day Zero Summer Placement Bootcamp are eligible to take part. Do note that it's open to all, but only the Day Zero Summer Placement Bootcamp students will receive resume points, and their submissions reviewed by the Leadership Team at InsideIIM | AltUni
