About This Competition
Sprint’21, Annual sports fest of SPJIMR presents you with the most competitive team e-sport, Counter-Strike Global Offensive. Gear up, make your teams, and start practicing to compete with teams from B-schools all over India. GLFH!
Rules & Guidelines
1. Participants need to register in team of 5. 1-2 Backup players from same college will be allowed. Teams have to give the names of backup players in advance.
2. The tournament format is knockouts. The tournament format will be Dust 2 till the Quarter Finals. Semi-Finals and Finals will be Best of 3 format. The first team to win 16 rounds wins the map.
3. In case of a tie after the regulation rounds end (15-15), 6 extra rounds will be played. 3 rounds as Terrorists and 3 rounds as Counter-Terrorists. First team to win 4 rounds wins the map. [Repeat if necessary]
4. Matches will be played with standard CSGO rules. Knife round will decide the terrorists & counter-terrorists side.
5. Matches will be proctored on zoom for avoiding the use of cheats/hacks. Teams will be accompanied by organizing team members in a breakout room. Any unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.
6. A team is allowed 2 tactical pauses for 1 minute each.
7. A player can only be registered to one team. Players will have to share their CSGO STEAM ID in advance while registration for a background check.
8. In case of any other issue, Decision of organizing committee will be final and binding to all.
